  6. This is a prerelease of Date-o-Member, the utility that helps you remember all
  7. the important dates you and your Amiga used to forget!
  8. I had the idea 3 or 4 years ago, started 99900 times to make it real, didn`t
  9. get far and started again.. This morning I thought I need some user feedback
  10. and so I put Date-o-Member on AmiNet. Please test it, think about it, and send
  11. me lots of suggestions, what you like, what you hate, what you want..

  13. Some Date-o-Member features:
  14.  o displays a requester
  15.     and/or
  16.  o flashes the screen
  17.     and/or
  18.  o can start any number of
  19.    · normal programs
  20.    · AmigaDOS batch files
  21.    · ARexx programs
  22.    · ARexx commands
  23.  o MUI-based user interface
  24.  o easy to use (but if you`re a nice person, help me and write a documentation)

  26. Installation:
  27.   Unpack the archive, place DateCron in your sys:WBStartup and Date-o-Member
  28.   anywhere you like.
  29.   DateCron will then load the dates at startup from a file specified via the
  30.   tooltype CRONFILE (default is env:Date-o-Member.cron).

  32. As I said, this is an (incomplete) beta release, there are still lots of things
  33. on my to-do list..
